These clips are used to hang lightweight small items and are liked by everyone because of its cool look.
In-house use, people are using it to display tapestry, ornamental rugs, vintage rugs, and picture frames.
In the commercial display, these are mostly used to display towels, shawls, canvas hangings, tapestry, and other ornamental display clothes or bed sheets.
It is recommended to hang these on a screw or nail in the wall and the other end is engaged to the picture or shawl.
The size of the top portion of the clip is 1"X0.75". The three alligator jaws width is 0.75" and they are designed to bear the load of lightweight rugs, towels, Kilim, and tapestry.
The top portion actually locks the jaw. It can be hung over a heavy string, metal rod or wooden sheet of 0.5".

I am using this to display small items in my hair salon for sale. I’m sure this type of impulse display will make me lots of money. Even if they accidentally take the clip- I have a lot so it’s cool. I definitely will buy this again and can think of may other uses for these like rugs display and color boards for designers. I recommend!

worked for me
I utilized these clips to hang a decorative quilt on the wall. I did not want to use an elaborate method and these fit the bill. Spaced about 20 inches apart, they enabled me to stretch the quilt adequately and get the smooth look that I wanted.

Sturdy but Sutle...
We were previously using the clear plastic clips to hold the paintings however with a decent wind either the clips would pull of the sunshade or 2-peice clip would separate...either way I would have to re-attach it every time. These are STRONG and I have not had any problems with bad weather . Would definitely recommend.

Inexpensive and sturdy
I wanted an inexpensive yet study way to hang a rug my son gave me. I also wanted to use very small nails. This product was all that. I am very pleased!

Very sturdy
They were very nice and sturdy. Unfortunately I wanted them to hang some art work and the teeth that grip would damage it. If you were hanging a rug or something like that they would work well

Perfect
These worked perfect to hang a 4 x 6 rug on the wall. I was afraid they would be too small when I opened the box but they were perfect. The small black clips do not distract from the rug at all.
