Description

This set of Rug Settlers is designed to anchor thicker rugs, mats, or plastic sheets placed over carpets or other surfaces. It offers a safe, simple solution for keeping rugs flat and secure, ideal for preventing slips, trips, and rug curl in high-traffic areas, entryways, and even vehicles. These pins work best when the combined thickness of both the overlay and underlay is 1 inch or less.

Color:

Transparent Top with Black Metallic Pins

Features

  • Make sure the combined thickness of overlay and underlay does not exceed 1 inch, which is the maximum supported thickness. If the thickness of the overlay rug is more than half an inch and up to one inch, you should buy our other product. Click here for that
  • If the overlay rug is thicker than 1 inch, consider our alternative heavy-duty option.
  • Designed to secure rugs in position while laid over carpets or mats.
  • The pin spans from the top rug to the underlayer and locks both layers together.
  • The contoured top provides a better grip during insertion.
  • Transparent top and rounded margins make it user-friendly and less visible once inserted.

How to Insert the Rug Settler (Step-by-Step Instructions)

The Rug Settler is a dual-prong pin designed for vertical and angled anchoring. Follow these steps for safe and effective installation:

1. Lift the Overlay Rug

Raise the top rug by 2–3 inches to allow pin placement.

2. Grip the Top Head Firmly

Use thumb and fingers on opposing sides of the transparent top.

3. Insert Vertically

Push the first prong vertically through the top rug. Do not insert at an angle.

4. Engage the Second Prong

As you push, the second angled prong bends at about 45° and enters the underlay or carpet.

5. Press Flat

Ensure the transparent top is fully embedded and flush with the rug’s surface.

6. Repeat as Needed

Use pins on all four corners, and in areas where rugs lift or curl, especially near edges or heavy traffic zones.

Optional Tip: Mark the first insertion point to maintain alignment.
